And which of those would it be? With or Without the special package?

I realized that after I posted it, still looking for more details. The one without looks like the one on my car in the picture. Since it does not list a SS verson vs base I would say it is the same fitment over the different bumpers.

But either way one is $115 the other $95, a quick call to a dealer should be able to tell you. Just tell them you have an SS and are trying to find the part number.

I'll just plan for the worst case scenario, and if it ends up being the cheaper, I have bulb money AND beer money to celebrate it being done. :) Thanks SunflowerHippi. :)

For all of these parts INcluding the fog lights and bulbs it is roughly about $1,021 before paint, and installs.

Actually called the dealer and got the part code and looked it up on GMpartsdirect when the site you had sent me to didn't recognize the code.

We agree with hyperv6 in the $2,000 to $3,000 range! When using the supplied vendor prices (2) SS Bumper Covers and a (1) SS Grill are over $1,100 alone! You'll need brackets, foam insert, fog lights, front bumper inserts, paint and install! It's buying new parts at not much of a discount along with labor to paint and install that will run the total cost up quickly! As a reference we are doing a rear seat recover with factory supplied SS items, new covers and headrest alone totalled $800 shipped, yikes..... We think if you were patient you can get complete SS Bumper assemblies off of ebay at half of the factory price shipped! Just paint to match?

That is a possibility, however is there a way to guaranteed that its legit GM product before you bid and it get there and find out its something else? That's one thing I am leary of doing is buying body parts for a vehicle off ebay.

When using ebay read the description and look at all pictures! Your best bet would be to purchse a complete bumper assembly take off, front or rear! Also we included a popular link for auto dismantlers that have "ALOT" of listings and locations up in the Ohio / Michigan areas that might work for you:

http://www.car-part.com/index.htm

Also google Schram Auto that might be up your way as they seem to have a good selection of HHR parts!

Schram Auto has had some deals on SS parts on e bay. Might just google them up as they have a web sight.

Buying the bumper complete at take offs and having them painted will save a lot of money.
