The large gap between the edge of the hood and windshield destroys the low pressure area at the base of the windshield. If the scoop came back closer to the windshield and was sealed to your air box you would probably see a slight increase. Better yet if you used a scoop like the one on the $30,000 show car (he only wants $325 for a hood he spent $1200 on), you could pack a ton of air into that turbo.

It looks like it is a long way from the windshield but the wipers don't have much clearance. There ain't no standing the wipers up to clean the windshield:)
