Maybe the GMC Typhoon? (I'm partial since I own one) 0-60 in under 5 seconds in the rain. I'm very interested in driving the SS. Although it would be an automatic, but would like to drive both to compair HP. I know the HP numbers are quite different, but actually feeling is believeing. Trust me power braked boost launches rock.

Its so cool that you own a typhoon. I've only seen one in person my whole life. Anyway I think he's talking about the Mazdaspeed3 as the fastest breadvan, comparing newer vehicles anyway. Just a guess since it has more tourqe and every automotive journalist is in love with it.

Your probably right about the Mazda. As for owning a Ty it's good and bad, rare yes so rare that most people are clueless as to what it is other than saying cool ground effects on that blazer and they brake down regularly, mine has a blown head gasket right now. But man it's really cool to blow by Stangs or hopped up camaros and see jaws dropping.

Um, clicking on the link to the "world's fastest breadvan" on Jalopnik takes you to that Ferrari...not the Mazda3.
