HHR SS Thrill

Well I finally picked up my 2008 HHR SS today. I had to drive it from the dealers to my home which was about a 75 mile ride. I have to say that I haven't been this happy or excited over a vehicle in many, many years. Many of the questions I have asked on this forum were graciously answered by you, but now I have first hand knowledge to my questions. Yes, I am very happy with the Auto, yes, I love the seats, (reg. SS seats, not performance and am totally fine with that) Fantastic ride for a sports suspension. I live in the northeast and all the roads have frost heaves, BUT I still love the ride. It has all the toys I could want and is also a very practicle veh. for me. In short it meets all my needs for speed, comfort and practicality, who could ask for anything more, (surely not a Toyota) My friend brought me to the dealer in his 2006 BMW 325I, Don't get me wrong it's a nice car but when we were on the interstate, I went by him at 100 and the SS was still pulling strong, he didn't have a chance. He has teased me for years, he always had the faster car, the tide has changed. I can tell it bothers him, but in a fun way. I am going to put the Stage 1 kit in within the next couple of weeks. My dealer is selling it to me for $505, not bad seeing that gmcrate.com is selling them for $485 pluse $12 shipping. They have put them in before too. Well now I know why all of you kept telling me to just buy it, I could go on for sometime, but you already know how fun they are. A big thanks to all who answered all my many questions. I look forward to spring and summer so I can keep it looking sharp. Thanks again, this is a great forum. LIVING WELL IS LIFES BEST REVENGE!

Congrats!!!!

If you think you pulled away from him now make sure he takes you back to the dealer to pick it up after the Turbo Upgrade is installed. 40 More hp and over 20 PSI wil dust him well.
