HHR version 1 or 3
NEWBY HERE!!! My dealer told me there are two versions of this HHR SS. however he had 4 on the lot and I drove all 4. 2 autos and 2 manual. ALL were version 1. not sure when the version 3's will be available.
NOW.....I'm 6' 8" tall , ingress and egress are nomimal, and the Knee room between the radio and steering wheel is limited , BUT I LOVE IT.
I am going to order one without the sunroof (for more headroom), and with the AA5 window delete, which is the only way I want one. Seems that on my dealers computer, it is available.
We will see in 6 to 8 weeks!

to the site!!! 1st question, what color you going to get? You have me confused with the Version 1 and 3 
. It seems some people are being told different storys on the AA5 option as well as color choices.

Thats what the dealer told me.........the two tone seats come on the version 3 only. He may be wrong, what the hell do I know. I searched and cant find it either.
I do know that when I was in to the dealer on friday, plain as day there was an option on his screen that deleted AA5 window On the SS.

Well I went to the Chevy Dealer this afternoon to order my HHR-SS Turbo. They gave me the run around on first option I wanted. 
The rear panel delete on the SS. 
They said there is NO option on the dealer computer ordering site for this. 
So then I asked about the full panel SS & he said NO I think these were just for the introduction car shows. 
So my question is HAS ANYBODY ordered the rear panel delete on the SS ???????? Does anybody have a list of their SS order form with options ordered that they will share info with me
Should I eMail Bob Lutz at GM to ask these questions.

I went to Sands Chevy in Phx, AZ. Sat. afternoon where HHRAZ got his Red-SS. 
I spent over a hour educating 15 salesmen 
about HHR's that I have learned off these forums. 
Only 3 people had seen HHRAZ's Red-SS. The salesman Supervisor found the AA5 option on their dealer computer website. He is going to have the order specialist call Chevy Monday & then call me. 
I told them I know about 12 people that would like a SS with the rear panel delete. 
I will post about it after they call me.

Another Newbee here, currently a PT Cruiser GT owner, I am VERY interested in the HHR SS! I am wondering how long it will be before Chevy updates their "Build your Own" area to allow pricing a passenger version of the SS with the rear quarter window delete option. Right now all it shows is the panel version listings.
If I am able, I would like to get one in Imperial Blue with the AA5 option, sunroof and a 5 Speed.
