high flow cat
high flow cat
i am wanting to get a new dp but i want it to have a high flow cat. is there anyone out there that have one for the auto and would it be worth my time the just have the cats swaped on the stock dp?
Stainless Works has a catted DP for the HHR/Cobalt that uses a single Random Technology high flow cat in place of the two factory cats. I've seen it, and it's a very nice piece. Ask for Bill in sales. My name and $1.00 will get you a cup of coffee.
down pipe
i got a dejon down pipe,i didnt know it was catless till i saw it.I installed it with the o2 sensor...major increase in power, but noise too.couldnt stand the noise and my check engine light went on and it ran very rich...got an aftermarket hipocat and welded it in.The noise level went down but not enough and it ran way rich again and the light came back on..back went stock pipe with cats...car runs good no light and back to quiet,,,sometimes ya just gotta try stuff and see
