Since it is an SS with a clunk you should park it until you check the ball joints. Many have replaced the entire Lower Control Arms with the WRONG part number, because the parts books are wrong, The wrong part has ball joints that have a smaller stud than the steering knuckle hole.

After that follow the link in my sig.

Welcome. With a little work it will give your Z06 a good run. Aerodynamic of the HHR are the hindrance as compared to the Z06 at high speed. BTW are both front rotors the same? As in the sweep of the slots

Yes my front rotors are the same. I bought bumper to bumper warranty, so I am gonna take it into the shop. After inspecting my end links are loose.

Welcome - nice looking SS - gotta love black! (sorry FMG)

One thing, you need to clean your knob - the shift pattern can be cleaned with a nice soft toothbrush. :)

Clean your knob.

I disagree whopper. Knob is worn out. Leather is worn thru on top right. Even the shifter boot is completely peeled away. (no black coating left on the boot)
Time for a new shifter knob and boot.

Ahhh FMG you are right - it is rather frayed - like it's been treated a bit roughly. Nothing worse than a worn out knob. Glad you know your knobs.
