I just don't understand...

I'm a bit confused here. The harder I run this thing, the better the mpg. I was cruisin' up 95 tonight and traffic was bumper to bumper, so I was only going 60. I was getting 20 or so mpg. Coming back down 95, traffic was lighter and I was able to cruise about 75-80. This crazy thing was getting 28mpg!!!

Guess I'll just have to drive faster more often...

Mine is the same way...Just about 300 miles on mine and i've only gotten 19 MPG. Don't really open her up all that much either, mainly highway miles at 55-65 MPH

At 60mph in the flats, my instant mpg settles at 35-36mpg.. That was after 500-1000 miles on the odometer. 19 is beyod poor mileage.

Quit posting stuff like this. I'm trying to resist trading for an SS. These type of posts don't help.

Yeah - it's killing me not to be able to buy until next month.

Yup - do 85-90 and I'll pull out 28mpg running out of downtown.

BTW - I'll give you my auto for the manual.

I have 1000 miles on it in two weeks. I am still getting 22 MPG and I have been driving like an insane jackas* around town. The break in time did fluctuate a bit, but it was higher than it is now. 22 is still way better than the 12 in my Jeep.

I am driving an auto, but it does like to sit at 70 mph on the interstate. Must be just a good gearing spot to hold speed and get good gas milage.
