Inner crankshaft sprocket gm 55557168 or gm 12462713

Hello. Does anyone have one of these they would like to sell that is new? I'm trying to put my car back together and can't source one due to the strike. If you do please message me thanks a lot

It is the inner sprocket for 2.0 with VVT.

Thanka again. John

5557168 superseded to 12789018, possibly on a Saab supplier site.
12462713 doesn’t show up as a GM part number.

The inner sprocket, for the balance shaft chain. For the 2.0

90537301

The other sprocket, for the timing set.

24424758

I think the 2.2 and 2.4 use the same.

Thanks for the replies.

I think 90537301 is for non vvt based upon images. That looks like the one that came in my kit from cloyes.

my car has the vvt sprocket. It has 55557168 on it.

here are two sites that list 12642713 as a superseded number. Now im not sure as old blue has anorher number.

i really dont want to reuse mine as it has 160k of wear. Especially since i have replaced so many other parts.

cant afford to keep waiting for gm strike to end while paying for rental car for last 3 weeks.

so if antone has one on a shelh please let me know

Is there visible wear? If not, drink an adult beverage and relax.

I’ve reused then crankshaft sprocket for the balance shaft chain , no issues.
I don’t recommend reusing the timing chain crankshaft sprocket.

It's for VVT.

Which kit did you purchase from Cloyes
this RockAuto page shows the inner ( balance shaft chain and outer timing chain crank sprocket) part numbers for the 2.0

Hello I bought the 9 - 4201 sa and the 9 - 4202s but the sprocket the set includes is not for the turbo engine with the VVT there is a sprocket but not for that engine. I confirmed that with cloyes technical support.

Also i might have used wrong terminology it is the balance sprocket on the crankshaft. It runs the water pump.

Yes Don Sounds like a great idea! I do have wear on lower edge of every second tooth. Not extreme and probably fine to use. Heck it has to be five o'clock somewhere..time for that beverage....
