its been a while.....

hows everyone been? its been over a year since my last confession.... haha

I been quite busy but also forgot my password and never had time for a reset!

you may remember my ride

. well i have done a few changes to it... some exhaust work. new rims and tires. in dash dvd/nav system. added a 10 inch shallow mount kenwood sub with a rockford amp(still breaking in) and i put the l.e.d bermuda's on..
i hope to be around the site more again to get some more great little ideas for mods and personalization.. im thinking of painting the dash components soon

in further news: at the end of MARCH 2012 the construction company next to my work decided to hire out some paint company to paint their asphalt silos primer gray on the windiest day in michigan ! 26 cars were oversprayed with this primer gray and of coarse me having the most unique car is facing the largest repair cost of the other 25... i already spent $450 for body shop to Claybar/wet sand polish my entire car (8 hours on body, 4 hours on the rims). so come tuesday the body shop will be replacing the body panels/plastics and windows that still have primer speckles all over. this also includes replacement of the vinyl stripes and i will be also getting new rims (i bought the drag dg-34's black with machine lips back in october 2011 which discount tire has removed off the shelf due to structural issues so i decided to upgrade to the TSW silverstones) so far the quote total is $4,500....

i'll take pics of it all fresh and clean once its back to new.. maybe even submit it into the "featured of the month" if you guys still do it

yea . just glad they're rdoing something about it.. could of simply said "tough luck"... the vinyl guys i got a quote from were actually very impressed with my current installed stripes. They were shocked on how straight the rear hatch turned out (lots of contour changes).. i just hope they do as good of a job that i did installing them.. i dont have the time to spend the entire weekend doing it again haha

At lest your getting it fixed, and not out of pocket. MSR rims are a good choice for wire mesh rims, and plenty strong too. "Moon'
