After watching the video..
Per the VP ... all that is required for a Chevy to have a "SS" destination is
**Stopping power --- I have larger then stock (4) wheel discs & stainless braided brake lines... got that covered.
**Acceleration - I have larger injectors, aftermarket intake, headers, high flow cats, cat back exhaust and ECM reflashed - got that covered
**Ability to go around corners fast - I have front and rear anti-sway bars, lowered springs, 18" wheels & tires and (4) Koni-sport shocks .. I got them all covered
I have my "SS"

Actually no interview ever said a Turbo was necessary to have an SS. A Chevy SS model should have what HVRod listed. Was the Camaro SS Turbocharged? How about the Silverado SS? Or the Monte Carlo SS? Nope. None of the above. So, technically HVRod CAN badge his HHR as an SS and get away with it. His HHR is better equipped than the Cobalt SS 2.4 Sedans are. That makes his HHR, SS worthy. By Chevy standards anyway. I own a 2.2 so could never have an SS model. Even WITH a Turbocharger.
