HHR SS Topics and information on the 2008-2010 Chevy HHR SS Turbocharged models.

Is it just my area or are SS prices going up?

As a group, yes, the SS Panel is the rarest group. It was only made in 2009 and a little over 200 were made. With wrecks we have seen on the board, that number could be around 200 still on the road.

Then when you start looking at options to limit the production more, you get into pretty hard to find category pretty easily.

Only made 216 panel SS editions in 2009. Last time I checked two of them were totaled. Thats not a bad price at all for a SS panel with that low of miles. I had looked a couple months ago and most SS panels were going around 19+ with low miles. Some dealers know their rarity and others do not.
Hopefully, you pick it up.

With 2 reported accidents last year the guy probably should sell that SS....... Just sayin'.

Maybe it won't sell this time through and you'll get another chance. Reserve hasn't been met.

I guess that would expain the low price for a SS panel with that low of miles?

Thats one of the reasons I got rid of my 09 HHR SS, got rid of it while the value of it was up.

I got $18,630 trade in value, max was $18,900, but i had a scratch on my rear bumper.

They are selling mine for $22,900, but it only has 14k miles on it and it was a 5 speed, Brembo/LSD package, red/blk interior.
THat's what I paid for mine new in 2008! Maybe I should sell? I have a mint 2008, 26K, garaged, no winters, no sunroof or Brembo's SS, stick. Trouble is I don't know what I'd rather be driving?

I just returned from our local Mazda dealer in St. John's Newfoundland and I was offered $8,000 for my 2008 SS!!!! Seems like they never got the memo about the SS holding its value. My vehicle is near mint, 5 speed, with about 40,000 miles. I didn't engage in much of a conversation with the Luddite, as it was pointless.

Like another poster earlier, I'm trying to get some value out of the vehicle before depreciation takes its toll (if it hasn't already).
