Lessons learned but got her fixed kinda
Well I had to have the engine rebuilt. 4 pistons and 1 new head with all the other parts. The dealer did fix it but was under a good customer warranty but it dropped my power train warranty. Even though I put it back to stock someone notcied it from the previous dealership that is very far away. the only thing they didn't cover was my rental car.
I will not blame the dealer for their dropping the warranty because the rep did fix it for free. Because of the IC, and Down pipe, thats why they dropped it but they said nothing about the IC piping. Hmmm. When it went in this last time it was all back to stock but like I said, someone else noticed it from the previous dealer. Oooops LOL.
I am having an issue though even after the reflash with the Stage kit, It still wants to over boost. Even now. I am thinking that I'll have to purchase a new computer to get the HP tune completely out of it. For some reason a reflash will not get it to where it should be.
I was lucky and maybe this will help others out to just get the stage kit and leave it alone until warranty is up. I will continue to work with this dealership and take my car there because of the fact they didnt have to do it.
The car runs very good and I will baby it until I get it not boosting over 21 psi.

You need to do a write entire with your original tune or stage 1 tune, instead of writing just the calibration file.
What caused this in the first place?

Had the same problem with my Vibe, put a SC, CAI, Meth/water inj, exhaust, etc... and when I tried to take it to a dealer when it snapped a rod they said they could tell it had been tampered with, and GM refused to cover it at all. I had to buy a used engine and replace it all myself!
If I were to warrenty a new car and the owner had modified the engine, the warrenty would be voided. Why would anyone expect the manufacturer to pay to repair after someone (shade tree mechanic) did the modifications?

What should it be at? I've never messed with it so I didn't think that could come out of adjustment..,
