It is certified, it has 33,575 miles on it and they are asking $15,997. The carfax looks good, oil was changed by the dealer at the regular intervals and other service was done. The only thing that somewhat concerns me is there seems to be alot of service issues. Here is what has been done so far, door aligned, axel seal replaced, tire pressure sensor replaced, blower motor replaced, drive belt and tensioner replaced and the stablizer bar end links replaced. Now is this a good thing that all this has been replaced recently and it's things I won't have to do if I buy it or is this a sign that this car is a bad one and I should stay away from it? Also with the snow we have gotten here yesterday it made me wonder how well these cars handle in the snow? Right now I drive a 05 Jetta GLI with 18" wheels and summer tires so I'm guessing pretty much anything will do better than what it does in the snow.

A lot of those replaced parts are common to all HHRs...... end links, blower motor, TPMS sensor ('08 and up)........ I wouldn't worry about that. Door needing aligned could just be a factory mis-alignment being fixed.....

If it's certified, those are non-issues.....

I have had mine for about a month now, and yesterday was the first actual big amount of snow I had driven the SS in and it wasnt to terribly bad. The only thing that really sucked was trying not to spin the tires every time I had to stop and take off.

Bkellar,
I wouldn't be concerned about the repairs performed... Mine needed some of the same done as well, and most were done very early on in its life. It's been much better lately. I would definitely want to get the price down a couple thousand though. $16K with that mileage is a bit much. I have had no issues with winter driving in moderate snow.

I do not have the Brembo brakes (08) and I have had no issues with stopping the SS at all. The standard brakes are 10x better than what is in my other two GMs.

I replaced the front rotors and pads at about 40K miles. Rears are still good.

Yeah I will definitely talk them down some or at least try to. I found a 09 with less miles for $1000 less at a dealership close by so that should give me some ground to stand on.
