So I decided to go and check out the closest hhr ss to me which was a 2010 ss auto... i liked the practicality of a performance version and not having to sacrifice much, however I didn't care too much for the automatic... personal preferance i guess... but other than that i got to see how well it handled and i had been considering a cobalt ss but the hhr ss handles so much better. So now there is no question... I am getting one in blue towards november.

Another thing i liked about it is it feels like a more expensive car than what it is... who cares about the hard plastics that where used in the interior... i couldnt care one way or the other it all comes together nicely. it is a good vehicle. handles really well... couldnt get over that... compared to the cobalt ss the hhr ss was put together so much better and as such eliminates alot of the road and wind noise that the cobalt ss struggles to remove.

I admire your determination to own an SS.
A few things to think about in your search: You have stated that you wanted a 5 speed, RPD, and blue color. Remember that they only made these cars for 3 years and there aren't that many in total numbers. To find one the way you want is really gonna narrow down what's available.
Based on known numbers, I would take a guess that there's probably only 150-200, at the most, with those options. Then, trying to find one for sale will narrow it way down.(see where I'm going with this?)

You may have to give in on one of your option choices to find a SS that's available.
Anyhow, Just trying to give you a heads up on this search. I really hope you can find exactly what you want. Good Luck with the hunt!

The color does matter and it doesn't if that makes sense. However, I would like the RPD, it doesn't matter what else it has so long as it is a manual trans SS... I would take a black or red... either way :)

$19000 is a lot to ask, but the low mileage might be worth it to you. Often they list for $15000 with reasonable miles. That one doesnt have the performance seats and doesnt say if it has the limited slip dif, should ask and adjust price if needed.

Man it's hard to find a stick in your own town.
Add brembos, woofer and stuff and its a needle in a haystack.

I didn't want black but it was just an hour drive and had everything I wanted.

The rest were states over...Lol
