Question looking for SS Panel

Hi all,
I was in a pretty bad accident last week (I'm ok). It looks like my beloved SS is most likely totaled. If anyone knows of an SS Panel around please let me know. I know they are rare and this may be a useless quest.
thanks

There around (be prepared to travel long distances), so are HHR SS with rear quarter panel delete, that might be a option for you, but be prepared for dealers not wanting to work with you on coming down on price, most know what they have on there lot.

my dealer had to buy mine from a dealer 200 miles away because they wouldn't transfer it. One of the other posts stated that there were only 216 SS Panels, so you are limited, but I wish you luck. Maybe you can salvage some of the parts off your old one and make some money, or a hybrid AA5 with no rear seats.

This may be the only new one left in the country, and the only one within 1000 miles of New York.

I don't care where it is, I'll go get it. Just rode a new motorcycle back from FL in aug. It has to be standard though, I can't drive an automatic. I'm good with used too considering what it is.

Loehman's Chevy in Waterbury CT has an AA5 Silver Ice on their lot. Try them and se if you like it.

do you know if that silver has been on the lot for a while? I talked to them today and they didn't seem like they wanted to be at all flexible with the price. I paid $23K out the door for mine last year in July. I think sticker was close to $27. You would think in Oct. they would be more interested in moving it.

To musicguy,

That silver HHR SS has been on their lot since at least June '09, but I have contacted them also and they do not want to deal.

djw479 To musicguy,

That's exactly why I went and bought mine from McDermott Chevy in East Haven, CT. Loehmans' dealership has morons as sales associates, both in person and over the phone; that's exactly why they lost out on my business. I drive by them EVERY day on the way to and from work. I actually take a 35 min drive to get to McDermott Chevy. You can always try to get your local dealer to swap but you're both correct in that they aren't willing to deal w/ new clients. They should have 2 more AA5's on the lot that haven't moved since at least May, and I'm sorry you guys weren't able to get something going on the SS (yet anyway ).

Later
Allex
