"Manzier" or "The Bro"?

Well, what ya call it doesn't matter but I need a bra. Well, my SS needs a bra . I'm not saggin' yet. I was giving the car a wash yesterday (the weather here in CenTx is beautiful) and all the little chips peed me off. I prefer the braless look (on anything under 40) but the rocks are killing the finish. I've seen bras for non-SS cars but not for the SS. Does anyone have a lead on a quality bra for the SS?

TIA

I didn't think that many people watched Seinfeld, or remembered it!

Best bet is one of those "clear or invisible" bras that go on like the headlight protection films. A car bra in the traditional sense will eventually F up the paint so it's just as bad as the stone chips there now! Also you'll need to take the regular bra on/off everytime it rains, snows (I know, non-issue in TX), or you wash the car.... The invisible bra goes on + stays on. You can wash the car, wax it, no problem. Food for thought.

I'm wit cha. That is why I'm not really hot on bras. Cheap ones don't breath or fit tight and even the better ones require so much care and feeding that they can be a real PIA. Where would I find this invisible sticky armor?

I'll add my 2 cents, I have the Colgan bra, I only install it for hwy driving or long hauls, keeps the frt in excellent shape, no chips and easy to take off and reinstall in about 5 min.
It is by far the best fitting car bra I've ever owned. If your interested go to the vendors forum and punch in Calgon or PFYC.com I think you'll like what you see.

Bras are only for short term use. They will rub and kill you paint in other ways if left on. If they get wet they will in time fog the paint if left on in the hit sun.

If you want one for short use Colgan is the only one to fool with.

If you want to use it daily the clear one is the only way to go.

I'll get you some info off a brochure I grabbed from one of my local dealers. In the meantime you can always try to Google "clear bra" or "invisible bra".

I'm thinking about one of those clear bra things, the place that did my windows does it. Not cheap, but cheaper than a repaint and they are fairly unnoticeable until you are pretty close.

The link I posted above offers both a 3M clear bra or the Invisi-Mask which carries a Lifetime Warranty
