When Black is cleaned right it almost looks like a mirror! Check out that 3rd pic!

Wow is that nice! Great work. Black is a great color, maybe even the best, I have just never had the patience to keep it clean and shiny, and there is lots of dust around here, so I chose my second favorite (red), but man that sure is sweet especially with your mods.

3 light coats of VHT and 2 heavy coats of clear and wet sanded between the Vht and each coat of clear with 3000 grit I think.

Very, very nice. Black sure looks great when properly cared for. As for me......I'm too lazy. My other car is matt black finished, not much time required. The silver seems to look good with minimal care. Thirty years ago I had a black lacquer finished car, it was work but worth it.

I'm hooked on shiney black too; Black HHR SS, '32 roadster, Harley, F-350 dually, GMC Safari GT (daily driver) and completing a '67 Lil Indian mini bike restoration. About the only things that aren't are the wife, kids, house & tractors!
