Angry My HHR missing when hot-no boost

I have 2965 miles on my 08 HHR, Yesterday it started missing intermittedly, then a few miles later it settled into a constant miss and turbo boost would not come up at all. Today with a cold engine it ran better with just a minor miss, however when the engine reached operating temperature I was back to a constant miss and no boost. Has any one experienced this problem? It is going to dealer later today.

I'm betting you have a boost leak. The stock intercooler piping is GARBAGE. If that's the case, it should be an easy fix.

It is garbage its more than likely the I/C piping. made of plastic Mighty Mouse I think he waited like 4 or 5 weeks to get his fixed. they had to finally take the parts off of another SS on the dealership lot. ther parts are on back-order Good Luck Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if thats the issue.

I took them about 6 weeks to get my replacement in, other than that, no big deal.
If you are getting NO boost, yours may need to be done sooner.

I just received word from the dealership, that an error code had called for replacement of #1 injector, they replaced the injector, the problem is still there. Does anyone have any ideas?

You mentioned that it only happens when it is hot. If the IC piping or IC is leaking, it is possible that it "opens up" when warm. Do you have the car back, or do they still have it? You may want to mention to them that you heard that several people have had cracks in the piping?
