Nice Truck, I went the other way, traded my 150 4x4 for the SS, I rarely miss the truck, how about you ??

 

No consideration for a Silverado? I still love my Avalanche even though it is coming up on its 10th birthday in three months.

 

Prices were really close between Ford, Chevy, and Dodge (I actually like the looks of the Ram 1500 Sport) but the Ecoboost plus best interior of the 3 put Ford on top. Sad to say but the 5.3 just can't compete with the Ford 5.0, Ecoboost 3.5, or Hemi anymore. Have to step up to the 6.0 Vortec Max and kiss your MPG's bye bye big time (not to mention premium upcharge in MSRP). Depresses me to see Chevy coming up short in power since that's always been a strongpoint. Ford worked the best trade deal too but honestly I was pretty much sold on the Ecoboost after first drive. My commute to/from work has netted 18.5 in the truck which ain't much lower than my SS did in that traffic.

 

If you're asking if I miss/will miss the SS....absolutely, but that's life. Driving right to my deer stand instead of walking 2 miles from the front gate doesn't make me miss the HHR

Short of my 94 Supra Twin Turbo, I would rank the SS my "most fun" car I've ever owned. And I've had some interesting hobby cars....LOL
