My SS is gone :(
Sad day but my 2008 Silverstone has been swapped out. Life necessitated a full size 4x4 truck so Ford got my business (still can't believe I bought my first Ford) since they at least offer the twin turbo It was a hard decision to buy a Blue Oval but I have to admit a nice truck.
I truly loved my SS which gave me basically 70k trouble-free miles with excellent power and MPG but just couldn't carry what I needed and get me in places I need to go.....believe me I tried. She battled through 6" snow duck hunting in Arkansas and many deer trips in Georgia red clay but at the end of the day I need more off-road capability than a lowered FWD could provide...LOL. Why couldn't Chevy have thrown the 2.0 Ecotec Turbo in a Colorado Or even better.....a 3.7 Turbo

Sad to hear the SS went, especially for a FORD
My cousin was telling me about these ecotec F-150s just last week (not available in Canada) suppose to be pretty fast.
Turbos or not, I don't think I could ever touch a ford

First Ford I've ever owned in 20 years of driving. Still not happy about it....but do like it. Supposedly high 6's 0-60 but weighs in near 5k with 4x4. Seat of the pants feels about right.

For those wondering, I got $12,600 on trade plus $1000 Ford trade in incentive (and tax savings of around $880) on my base 2008 SS, 5-speed with only option LSD and GM Stage upgrade and 70k miles. Had a Carfax history too from when I got rear-ended (minor...but still there). No brainer. Worked out to selling it for about $14,500 which with the Carfax I could have never accomplished probably. Took a bit of fighting and waiting till late on Nov. 30 to get that trade deal but they buckled and that's what matters...LOL.

It's a different world now. I too have been a GM guy all my driving life (and earlier...always loved GM cars best even before I drove them), but I'm really starting to like Fords. Your truck is gorgeous, BTW. Great color combo.

Mercs, Lincolns, Fords are ALL Iive driven. The HHR is my first and last GM car. Horrible customer service at the dealers, Im so over it it's not funny. Never again GM, NEVER. My consolation is I have 5 family members that I talked OUT of GM cars, all bought Fords again. Oh yes, I also was given the green light to purchase 4 vehicles for work too, NOT GONNA BE GM cars that's for certain. I'll buy a freakin asian car before I go this route again.
Save all of your comments about GM loyalty too please. You all keep the brand alive, BAILOUTS and all. Screw GM in the neck.
CONGRATS ON THE BADASSSS F series man! Ecoboost baby!
