Is my SS panel actually a half panel?

Is my SS panel actually a half panel?

Someone just pointed out to me that a full panel never came with a backseat option and that I might actually have a half panel that someone swapped the rear doors. Is there a way to check the VIN or get the build sheet?

THANKS!
Kevin

Back in the day there were some full panel owners that would install a back seat. That would seem the most likely.
Does yours have the PANEL emblem on the back hatch ? Pretty sure only the full panel got that emblem.

Look at the sticker on the inside of the passenger side glove box door. If it says AA5, it's a half panel.

After reading your other posts about your car having door poppers, it looks like your car is a real full panel that someone added a back seat to.
How about some pictures of this SS panel ? They are very rare.

Our VIN decoder didn’t show any RPO codes, so you’re best off looking at the sticker in the glove box , post a photo of it here and we can decipher it for you

Yes very rare the SS full panel was only built in 2009 just 216 built, the SS AA5 half panel just 199 were built also 2009 year only.

I’ve seen that one before. What the reason for both antennas being removed ?

I bought it from a dealership in Chicago. The original owner traded it in for a a Jeep. I think he used it as a promotional vehicle for his business. I can see it had a huge vinyl stickers on the sides, which someone used a razor blade to remove and gouged the paint in several places. He took pretty good care of it, it only has 80k miles on it. He did a bunch of ZZPerformance upgrades to it. However, the interior is a little rough. The plastics were pretty scratched up, probably from hauling around work stuff?

Neither worked anymore and I want to fix the paint. I probably won't put them back on. I think it looks cleaner without them.
Seen it in Phx or Chicago?
