Need info on buying a 2010 SS

Hi
Found an SS with 20K on it. Would like to know what to look for as updated repairs or problem area's to look at.
I understand there are people on this forum that work at Chevy dealers. Maybe they can chime in and help with a repair history.
The vin on the car is:

Thanks

If you're looking for info from someone who works at a dealer, sorry, can't help you with that.
Now if you're looking for any specific stuff about a 2010 SS, then I can probably answer that since I do own one.

Is it a auto or 5 speed ?

As far as any problem areas. Not really any wide spread problems have been reported on the 2010's.
Just check to see that the recall work has been done.

It's automatic.
I read very early post's that there was a hung brake problem do to a vacuum pump recall.
Also a turbo pipe cracking and a sensor problem with the turbo system.
I guess I'll start with that.

Those problems you listed were pretty much issues with the early 08's if I remember correctly.
Pipe cracking and a sensor issue I don't remember that happening very often.

You can go to any GM service writer and ask for a warranty record of the V IN. They can get it if they want to.

You probably won't run into a problem with your piping unless you get a tune and hit higher boost. Even at that maybe not until it's a bit older. The plastic welds don't hold. I have experience. I have a new set of factory pipes after I blew one from my GM tune and still look to upgrade to metal pipes and intercooler since the elbows on that are plastic too.

Btw love the VIN.. BADD lol. I found it online. You better jump on it if the VIN is clean! Lowest miles I've seen super clean. If I still lived around there I'd have already snatched it!

I contacted the dealer 2X now. Trying to even out the bumps with them. I have to go 160 miles to look at it and do a trade if it works out.

On a side note, don't really like the boost gauge in the middle with the tire monitor panel. I know this is dumb. But can it be moved, as in an earlier model?

That display is one of the ugliest least thought out interior design pieces I've ever seen in a car. I'm pretty sure you're stuck with it unless you want to do some rewiring. That being said, it definitely wouldn't stop me from getting it lol

You do know that the RPD in the center dash is much more than just a boost gauge and tire monitor ?
It has Boost, speedometer, cam phasers, A/F ratio, G force meter, coolant temp, battery voltage, inlet air temp...just to name a few.
I wasn't to thrilled with the RPD when I first got my car, but now 4.5 years later,
it has really grown on me. Glad I have it.

Just one of the many different screens:

It is cool just poor design. I use Torque for Android with a custom display mounted in front of my stock dash gauges in matching red and black.
