New to Forum

Hello hhr enthusiasts Thinking about buying a car for commuting, one with a little attitude. How are the hhr's ss for a daily driver.I want a panel ss in white,doesn't seem that the ss comes in white. Whats up with that ? Will the 2009 have a 6 speed.

No M6, the same M5 is a carry over from '08 to '09. They are an outstanding daily driver/commuter vehicle. Test drive one and you'll be hooked.

If I buy the HHR it will be primarily for a daily driver, as I put around 20K miles a year on my vehicles. But like someone mentioned, the HHR SS would have attitude.

If you are looking for a sporty ride that has cargo room, speed, and good fuel economy the HHR SS is the way to go. I bought mine for a daily driver but wanted something that would actually move when I hit the gas pedal but wouldn't kill me on gas. My mom has a solstice with the 2.0Turbo and that was impressively fast so I thought what the hell I guess I can buy my first 4 cylinder car. Now I got something that has power when I need it and averaging about 24MPG in my daily driving.
