The SS is probably one of the most versatile all around vehicles out there. What else can you get that will commute to work, haul a family, haul 2x4x8 studs and many other Lowes/Menards/HomeDepot errands, haul groceries, look cool @ the beach, look cool on the boulevard, run with most sports cars on the road or exceed them, and get 23/30 mpg while driving it like a bat out of hell?
I'm still trying to figure out a way to justify selling my '07 1LT and getting an SS. Can't so far... I haven't had the '07 a full year yet.

Damn, I won't be ready to order until the summer. I probably should stop coming to the site every day because it is killing me to hear from everybody that the car is GREAT!! I can't stop coming to the site though.....it sucks me in everyday! At least I will know pretty much all there is to know about the car by the time I am ready to get mine.
You will definitely get lots of good info here. Lots of people with lots 'o knowledge.
Anyway, enjoy the ride!

What a great site! I had no idea the HHR had a following like this. I was still trying to decide if an HHR SS would be a good fit for me, but found the answers to my questions here. I'm headed to the dealer after work tomorrow to work out the details to get one ordered.
