The SS is probably one of the most versatile all around vehicles out there. What else can you get that will commute to work, haul a family, haul 2x4x8 studs and many other Lowes/Menards/HomeDepot errands, haul groceries, look cool @ the beach, look cool on the boulevard, run with most sports cars on the road or exceed them, and get 23/30 mpg while driving it like a bat out of hell?

I'm still trying to figure out a way to justify selling my '07 1LT and getting an SS. Can't so far... I haven't had the '07 a full year yet.

Anywho, CONGRATS and WELCOME.

Damn, I won't be ready to order until the summer. I probably should stop coming to the site every day because it is killing me to hear from everybody that the car is GREAT!! I can't stop coming to the site though.....it sucks me in everyday! At least I will know pretty much all there is to know about the car by the time I am ready to get mine.

You will definitely get lots of good info here. Lots of people with lots 'o knowledge.

Anyway, enjoy the ride!

Welcome to HHR Lovers World. Great site, nice ppl and full of information. You will see that most of these folks know more about their HHRs than the dealers do.

Welcome aboard from a guy who has 3 HHRs, inlcuding a SS. Guess we must like them pretty well.
