I've been using the folded down passenger seat as an armrest temporarily.

I wonder if there's any interest in a group buy on the parts kit?

FYI
i just placed a order with GMpartsdirect. i ordered all the parts listed, im too lazy to run around looking for washers and such so i just got all of it, lol, the total was 169.xx with shipping. no tax if you live outside NC. really not a bad price and it could be alot cheaper if you dont order the washers and use your own. i still want to get an arm rest for the driver seat too.

Does anyone have the part numbers to add an arm rest to a sport seat in manual?

Question

I have driven a couple of 5 spd SS and I don't see any reason you couldn't put an arm rest on the driver's seat too. There seems to me enough room to go through the gears. Is there some reason it won't physically fit? No mounting points on the driver's seat?

You could always raise it when needed but on long drives it would be nice to have.

Anyone checked into this? I searched and didn't come up with anything on the driver's seat.
