New HHR SS Victory Red owner

Hello,
have been bitten by the HHR craze for awhile now. Bought my wife her Black 2007 HHR LT 2.2 in May of 2008 decided I wanted one so bought a used 2007 Silver HHR LT 2.2 July 08. My mom bought her 2007 2.4 Sunburst Orange LT new in March 2008 left over. My brother just bought his wife a 2008 White 2LT 2.4 in Oct 2008.

Needless to say when I heard about the SS I wanted one problem finding one and paying $25,000 or more for one. Solution buy a used one which is what I did Bought it from Marc Heitz Chevy in Norman, OK. yesterday original sticker price $26,000 and some change.

It had 30K on it so I traded my 2007 silver HHR on it and bought the SS for $16,998.
Here are the options:
2008 Victory Red SS automatic with roof rails.
6 disc Pioneer upgraded stereo
airbags thruout the car
anti-lock brakes
Tire pressure sensors
Traction assist with Performance set-up? still trying to fiqure this out?
4 wheel disc brakes
Black interior
Onstar
Sat Radio
I am sure I am missing some stuff Basically I think it was as loaded an SS that you could get for 2008.

Now what is a stage I upgrade and where can I get one? Also any K&N airfilters out there or intake upgrades for one?

Thanks will post some pic's later

Congrats on the upgrade!

It sounds as if any family reunion could be some kind of HHR event.

The Stage klit is 55 HP dealer installed Map and T map sensors with a computer flash. On back order right now but out soon.

KNN has a cold air kit out his year but as of yet no replacment fitler for the stock SS other than a universal filter. I have not seen the numbers for the KNN but they are usally 8-18 HP average. Just depends on the car and the original intake.

Lucky dog...mine will be identical when it gets built! Don't forget to stop at the parts department on your way out to order the stage kit!

Looks like the one I have in the driveway (except no roof rails on mine)

Welcome! There are plenty of threads about the Stage 1 kit... it's backordered right now but adding 50+ horsepower for only around $750 is almost a no brainer. Get your orders in now.
