Silicone is slippery on smooth metal....next time use some 3M contact cement (spray)between the connector tube and metal.....not much....just enuf to keep the tube from sliding around....the tubes really need a bead bult in to hold the tube.
Yeah my IC has the bead welds but IMHO I think the pipes coming off my IC are about 2" too short. Like 09 Silver Bullett, my t-bolts were down all the way all around on the hotside pipe. The only one that gave me problems was the connection to the IC. Granted I'll get another set of IC tubing later but (knock on a redwood!) since this is my DD on went the stock hotside IC pipes + they're holding fine even to 24-25lbs of boost, untuned.

I know your right. The T-bolt clamp I had on the hot side @ IC was leaking boost. It was drawn down all the way. I had to go to the turbo shop and purchase another one the next size smaller. Silicone coupler did side over the IC too easy, so it is a little smaller. New clamp fixed it though, no more leak.
