New to the Site new to the HHR

Afternoon,

Been lurking the site for about a month now.
did my home work before pulling the trigger on a new loaded black 5 speed SS.(no roof rails)

Traded in my 06 GTO as the mileage and 60 mile round trip commute were killing me.(went from 15-27 mpg on my commute)

I miss the grunt (car went 12.3@106 tune, boltons, converter.tire) but the fun factor is alot higher in the SS.

So far I am really glad I went this direction over the XB

Hey, welcome to the site and good luck with the new SS!

I'm sure there is days you will miss the V-8 rumble and rear wheel tire spin, but these SS's are fun. You can't beat the ratio of fun per MPG that's for sure!

Congratulations and welcome to the site!

The SS is a fantastic compromise between functionality, fuel economy and performance. I don't think anything else comes even close!

seems that the 5 speeds are very hard to find right now. My buddy was looking for a silver SS but the only 5speed with the options he wants within 200 miles is identical to mine:)

Your name seems very familiar from the LS1.com days (dating myself) You don't have a Berger SS do you?

I used to be Qwik SS years back

A real Berger SS? That would be sweet.
