I bought the budget tune...definitely a step better than superchips...I seen 23psi once or twice...I'm sure it will be a bit higher when it warms up. considering we have electronically controlled boost

superchips was spiking around 17-18 psi lately, settling around 15-16...Trifecta was settling over 20 everytime I put my foot down....Its like a new car, I want to go drive it now for no reason

I was going to start a thread about Trifecta vs HPTuner because I'm torn between the two, but I assumed a person would either have tried one or the other so no good comparisons.
Is the main reason you chose trifecta the price or what? Thanks

I read probably 100+ threads between here and CSS.net and I made my decision from that for the most part....you will find that on any forum (especially css), people will talk about how either tune sucks...I read about how vince(trifecta) sucks and I read about how HPT sucks....Personally they are probably both great upgrades over stock... very few people have had both, and there opinion would count the most for me...

The price was right for sure...I still have to send the cable back, but after the deposit is credited back to me, Its only $220 or so... I should have never bought Superchips to begin with...

The only opinion I have and can tell you is that, if superchips was 1 step faster stock, trifecta is 1 step better then superchips....I wont hate on superchips, because the car was much quicker, but my car seems way smoother at high RPM's now over superchips...

Trifecta hits about 23-24psi and is awesome when you put your foot down at highway speeds...

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but you said you went with the budget trifecta over the full tune, are you happy with it? Also any chance it runs in the 13's 1/4 mile?

I'm debating between Superchips and trifecta budget and really want to be in the 13's in the 1/4

Only reason was leaning towards Superchips is the 2 year power train warranty and people said trifecta runs too rich

Any answer much appreciated
