No Flash Logger on our cars?
No Flash Logger on our cars?
I contacted a local Trifecta dealer and they said our cars don't even have a flash Logger function in our computers so the dealership can't see any changes anyway as long as I reflash back to stock before I go for service if I get the trifecta tune. Is this true?
That doesn't sound right to me. I've read in CSS.net people getting denied warranty because the flash count was more than what gm had recorded. But at the same time, I dont think trifecta would lie to you. Maybe they misunderstood the question?
I got the same statement from my most trusted GM tech, they can find a reflash if they know the steps involved with a Tech II. But it's not usually done unless the vehicle presents with driveability problems that aren't normally seen.
