Ordered mine in May and it came in sometime around the middle of June. I'll have to check for the exact date when I get out to my car when i'm off work.

I bought mine in July and will have to see if I can find the build date when I get it back from the dealer.

Does anyone remember who on the forum had to have their turbo replaced? I know I saw a post about it but I can't find it. We should find out what the mileage and build date of that one was too.

Well, the dealer just called and said the scraping sound was 'normal'. It sure doesn't sound normal to me and had just started so I still think something isn't quite right. I guess it will just have to wait until it gets worse.....

The engine in this thing has a lot of odd noises so it is hard to tell normal form bad.

Bettween the the compuiter shutting throttles to the DI injectors this is a noisy engine at times.

Hey Hyper, I wish I had kept my ol' T-Type, that sumbiotch was a sleeper. It did pretty well for a 130K stockblock, home ported heads and a nice-sized hairdryer on 93 octane. 12.50s on BFG Radial T/As.

Are you like scratching your ear in that picture or something?

The later T types were cool. Even the FBI has some with the GN engine and no chips to limit speed.

I always like the sleeper effect on the Monte Carlo Turbo. Bu they had the first gen turbo set up and most were removed from the cars early on. Other than a small hood dome it looked like a generic Monte. The Lesabre T type was similar.

FYI nice car.
