Now i'm mad!

OK time for a FU rant. I have had my SS for going on three years, and if you are like me you know every little nook and cranny, every noise and shimmy, every ding and scratch on your 5 door rocket.

well, tonight while enjoying dinner with the family, my next door neighbor (reffered to from here on out as As&*^le!) came knocking at the door, to ask if we could pull our cars up a little bit (we share a driveway), as he sometimes has dificulity turning in. I said no problem (we usually park further up, I was going back out so I didn't pull up as far as normal) and went to move the cars, no biggie, untill I see that my SS has been hit on the driverside back bumper enough to discolor and strech the plastic bumper so it gets that milky white taffy looking crease that is so inherent to plastic, and a nice dent just under the tail lights....... ******* had the balls to ask me to move my car but couldn't own up to hitting it..... WTF is wrong with people today? Never in my life have I seen so much disreguard for our fellow man as I have in this country in the past few years. I called the cops and there isn't a thing they could do but give me a Hit and Run report because I didn't see it happen..... Again WTF, my neighbor basically admitted to hitting it, by asking me to move........ PEOPLE DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT ANYMONE! I am so ashamed of the way people behave lately.

I'm not pissed off because my car got hit.... stuff happens.... I am extreamly pissed because people don't own up to their mistakes anymore. we live in a pretty crappy society lately...... where TV shows cash in on the 7 deadly sins, celebrities pay their way out of trouble, politicians say whatever it takes to get elected, illegial immigrants have just as many rights as you and I do, our economy is in the trash, our military is spread too thin, our churches are corrupt, and we the people have no power.......... Sounds like we need a good beat-down doesn't it? I am almost ashamed to still believe this is the greatest country in the world, especially after your very own nextdoor neighbor whom you have to live next too turns out to be a huge steaming pile of SH#$!

Welcome to the real world. It changes all the time, and not always for the best. It seems like it just keeps getting worse, but not gonna change back like it used to be,[and even then it was'nt all that hot].
I'd pay your neighbor a visit, and let him know that he hit your car, and tell him, you either fix it, or next time I come over here, it could get a whole lot nastier[especially when your holding a ball bat]. See where it goes from there. "Moon"

My mothers neighbors across the street from her have 5 vehicles-2 of which are disabled and damaged in their driveway. The other three are in the street. My mom keeps one car in the street. The cross the street I am lazy cause I don't want to drive around the block let alone make a k turn in an empty area so they have to make a u turn in front of the house almost hitting my moms car neighbors finally did. Knocked into the front drivers fender , bumper, and headlight, then drove off-all while my mother & stepdad saw through the window! (heard the bang & looked out) My stepdad tried to be nice about it and later asked them if they (the culprets) saw any thing-no we didn't was their lame a$$ response. Well I tell you this after I got finished with their mary a$$e$ I have yet to hear of them making a u turn in front of the house as of late.

Hey FD,

We feel your pain and totally agree with your thoughts of the state of u.s...... Our neighborhood is hit and miss with p.o.s.'s and soon we are hoping to move to the country! Can't tell you how many times we've been told kids-will-be-kids as they procede to have rock fights around our home! Or the neighbor accross the street that caved in our accords rear bumper and then drove off like nothing ever happend! As far as the state of the U.S., like you stated there's not much we can do as we really have no say!

Have a Great Weekend ,

That sucks that it's your neighbor. See him every day. Tuff call, I'd probally have to pay back the favor in a bit of a bigger way.

I completely agree with you Foolmoon, especially your last paragraph. When I was growing up I had a huge admiration for the American Flag. Now a days it seems to have lost its luster. Just driving around town it seems that ppl have absolutely no respect for each other. I lost count how times ppl cut me off today. They refuse to use turn signals, drive slow in the passing lane and won't move over even though it is the law. I have completely lost faith in our political system. Those smucks only care about lining their pockets and selling the American public to the highest bidder. I pretty much blame ppl's crappy attitude on television.

Sounds like you have the kind of luck a lot of us do. It only happens to the newer one, never the winter beater. Our lawn guys scratched my wifes GP in the driveway 2 weeks ago. When I called their boss, he asked the guy that does our area and he said he couldn't remember if he hit the car or not. The owner told me to get a estimate on it and he would take care of it for us. Just the point, you know. Good luck with the repair on it.

That sucks!! I'd be so pissed off if that happened to me. I'd definitely want to return the favor. Slash his tires or something, or key his car.
