OBD2/Torque HP estimate & 80mph+ Boost

I have an OBD2 Scanner and Torque APP. Its proven VERY accurate when doing simulated dyno runs on every car I've put it on that have had actual dyno pulls. It's also very consistent on my car. Normally if I'm at a 60mph roll then give it gas I'll boost to 22-23psi hold for a bit then start to fade. I take it til 80mph-ish then let off just not to burn up brakes or risk a ticket. I'll usually hit 240whp(300ish crank). Recently I've noticed if I stay on it past 80 full throttle the boost kicks back in right up to 22+psi. So I plugged in the OBD2 last night and gave it a go on a long empty road. Right past 80mph the boost kicked back in, the SS seemed to pull stronger than ever and my Torque app read 268.8whp and 271.2wtq which figuring drivetrain loss is around 350HP and 360tq at the crank. I almost crapped myself and have blown it off to a misreading, weight difference since I didn't have a full tank of gas or something. I have the GM Stage 1 and a Forge BPV. That's it. I will be trying again and scheduling an appointment for an actual dyno pull. Just a matter of time and money. Thoughts?

The torque app WHP ratings seem to be on point. Your crank HP estimates are way off though. If you make 270whp and crank HP is 350 that means you have a 23% drivetrain loss. Our cars are like 10-15% HP loss from the drivetrain. Fwd setups tend to have less overall drivetrain drag.

I have a similar HP/TQ screen on my RPD. It's sux tho because the rpd HP/TQ gauge maxes out at like 325HP and 340-342TQ. My car pegs them with ease

Thanks for the correction! It didn't seem right to me.

That being said, I've had two mustangs and two Hondas for dinner this year lol. Even with the problems I've had and am having, this car is so fun lol
