Official farewell to the HHR SS

Today, I head to West Virginia to pick up my replacement vehicle. I sold the HHR SS to my twin brother. He takes really good care of his vehicles....so I'm glad he ended up with it. I sold the SS for dirt cheap to him....but it's good to know it's getting a good home. Plus, he lives across the street from me so I can still see it everyday! Anyhow, just wanted to thank everyone for their input and idea's while the car ran like sh*t for almost the whole time I owned it. I've learned alot about the LNF cars here...which I'm very thankful for. I knew absolutely nothing about the whole Turbo thing...and now, I atleast have a good idea on how to replace stuff when it breaks! So thanks again everyone!

Shawn, seeing as you have lots of knowledge about the LNF, why not get another? or even a Cobalt or Buick? Anyway, hope your next ride doesn't give as much problems.

To best honest...the HHR made me so mad (probably 80% of the time I owned it) because of the problems it had. I probably put $2000 of my own money in it...and GM didn't want to hear anything I had to say. Kinda drew me away from the LNF Turbo world.

Too bad you are leaving maybe your brother will join up here.
Just curious if it was running bad 80 percent of the time what did you do to make it run the way it should the other 20 percent or was there something that was added that made it run worse etc?

So what is your new ride going to be?

I had James from cobaltss.net tune it. He dialed it within .08%. It was off by 30% when Vince tuned it. Runs better than ever, very very fast. My brother couldn't believe how much power the 2.0 has!

The new ride is a 2010 Camaro SS, lots of mods, 6 speed

Hate to hear ya sold it, but if you had that many issues I can see why. Other than my HPFP failing, I have had 0 service issues with mine so far. Knock on wood.

I am set to start working with James in about 5-6 weeks on nailing down my tune. I'm really looking forward to what he can do over what I have been able to do on my own.

Nice Camaro. Enjoy!

You will be VERY happy with James. He knows what he's doing for sure. Plus, he can do remote tuning as well (as long as you have the HP program). Like if you wanted to run an E47 tune one weekend to try out, he could send you the file....(and he doesn't charge for a retune). Good guy, it was nice to finally meet a "tuner"....that really is a "tuner"
