Ok I'll join in the fun...new SS here.

I posed the question a couple months ago wavering about trading my GTO for the SS. Well the time came and I sold the GTO and picked up a Black, fully loaded SS a few weeks ago. Yes, unfortunately before the 0%-72mo incentive. Harrumph.

Anyways, I've got about 500 miles on the car so far and love driving it. I get about double the gas mileage of the GTO, and about just as much fun. The SS is quick, nimble and rides fairly nice. The interior is a little cheaper and less comfortable than the GTO but still very acceptable for a car/truck like this. My GF mentioned that she can tell its not as powerful/comfortable than the goat but thats ok, she's rarely in it, and its my ride for crying out loud!! Hahah. I can't wait to test out the no lift shift, and launch control.

When I took delivery of the car it had 4mi on the odometer! It has the accent stripes, and I don't know how I feel about them. They are just stickers so I could just peel them off... what are y'alls thoughts on the stripes??

Options:
Performance drivers seat.
XM / Pioneer Speaker Stereo
Smoker Package (bah!)
Stripes
Manual Trans.
Limited Slip
Roof Rails
Side airbags

Very nice ride The stripes look like they are the same ones from the Fall Edition. Personally I like them. Adds a nice touch IMO.

WHEW!!! with all the new SSs cruizing (or should I say blazing) in here the past day or two. I'm glad someone else got one a month ago before the 6 years of free money. (You did get the extra $2500 off, didn't you?)

Greetings from the OC and welcome to the HHR familia!

GREAT color choice! A little extra effort to keep clean, but worth it!

Wow that makes like at least 5(?) of us that have gone from GTO to HHR SS....I just picked up my Red/Red SS 5sp (loaded) on Saturday (no pics yet). I cant wait to spool this thing up....

I'll miss my 05 GTO, but I won't miss the puny trunk....

Yeah my GTO ran great in a straight line.

Sucked on gas and storage.

Cool car,,, cool color (ahem )

No stripes on mine, i'd almost have to see your SS in person n do a walkaround to get my / on them.
HHR's look like they would be a tough car to pinstripe, which it's shape n curves etc.(have not gotten/found a good "line" yet on mine to consider pinstriping mine as of yet.) But the stripes on yours do pull it off pretty well IMO.
I'm liking the mono black thing i have going on now,so if i did anything other than black, it would have to be subtle.

Yer gonna love your new ride even more as the days go by!
