Got to check out you're gallery then ASAP.

I am "assuming" the PAL gives ya more control of the iPod than what is available via the USB, but haven't checked that out either.

Very striking colour choice - bet you get lots of compliments.

Tingle49, Aquaman,

Well, looks like the date has been pushed to 12-15 for the build.

Got a chance to see the display and work with it. The graphics in person are really nice, I have not seen anything comparable aftermarket in that category.
In this day and age, there should be something more graphical out there that can take advantage of OBD specs.

This date was confrimed with Brian Brown at GM. He also said "We do a test run on 12/2. Keep your fingers crossed."

My understanding is that the PAL is no longer needed is you have the USB port on the radio. What more control could the PAL give? You're supposed to be able to use steering wheel controls with the USB connection, it should display on your display, etc. That's pretty much about it.

From what I have heard about the PAL it is crap. Slow, hard to navigate. Pretty much the only way to use it is to set up a play list and play that.

Your USB port is so much better. I'll trade you radios if you just want to add the PAL?

They could have made it flow with the dash really nicely, but cut corners instead.. Sticks out really nicely too. Just waiting till someone has their hhr broken into and someone tries to steal it, cause it looks like it would just pop out.

i checked to see if i have an official TPW. the answer is no. my order is still in placed orders and my event code status is 2000. all hell broke loose on sept 29th when my order was In-System Return, then Plant cancel confirmed, and finally Order on Hold. the funny thing is that on July 19th, i was at event code status 3000 with a build week of August 25, 2008.

however, GM is saying that they are targetting for december 8th. "less than 4 weeks" in bold yellow letter is what i saw.

I hope you are right for December build. My dealer said it will be sometime in January and that was just an estimate.
