ordering a ss panel aqua blue

A friend wants to buy my 09 AA5, went to the dealer looking to order a aqua blue panel, 5sp, gray ultra seats,RPD, posi with every options except the $680 metal pullout floor whatever that is, i planing to install rear seats, list price $28,880, $4,400 discount, had the dealer do a national search to find one built already none found, ordering one possibly taking 6-9 mouths to get it. i continue searching for a week may have to order one, i try for a rare combo, blue, 5spd, RPD, any suggestions on ordering one.

I think there is a conflict with the RPD and manual transmission, something to do with the shift indicator. When they work the bugs out then you can order it that way. Right now you can only get the RPD with an auto tranny.

I second that tony, I have an 09 AA5 silver SS, 5 spd with RPD and preformance package and sunroof. I never knew of an issue, but if they had one then they must have fixed it. My shift light on the RPD works perfectly

Fortunately there is no conflict with the RPD and the 5sp manual. I have one sitting in my garage at this time with this option. There was a delay, but was rectified in February.

tony326,
You won't have a problem with ordering the 5spd/RPD combo with the dealer. It's definitely a great option to have!!

I remember hearing some information about the plant in general being shutdown for a couple of days in March. Haven't heard anything since, but that applied to all HHR's, not just the SS.

As for the performance division, that applies more towards future development of vehicles. From my understanding, they were disbursed throughout the company. This doesn't affect current production at all.
