would be nice but not as a daily driver. some places today (5/22) have already . 1 cent short of the horrible $4.00/gallon mark.. Honestly if gas ever reaches $10.00 a gallon it would take a whopping $125 dollars to fill a Honda Civic...... V8's wouldn't stand a chance.... just my
Gas prices are not going to get THAT high before this oil bubble bursts. There's already too much supply for demand and it'll start to go down after the Olympics.
That said, the Camaro is going to get excellent fuel mileage, period. Notwithstanding the thirsty Mustang GTs and Shelbys, and the bloated Challenger, I think 25-30 mpg is realistic given the superior powerplants in the Camaro. Sure, it'll slurp the gas when you mash it, but the LS V8s and the next-generation V6s are incredibly efficient cruisers.

I have a friend that swears he is going to buy one. It will certainly look nice in his garage along side his black '68 RS! By the way, the person who told me that quote told it to me after they drove the prototype...
you must know the guy over on the FQuick site (OctaneZ28 is his sn over there)...he posted a blog very recently talking about the second Camaro Focus Group that he was so priveledged to go to...very nice read that blog was, and very exciting. the V6 has the potential to have as much power as a Mustang GT...that is assuming they don't detune it from the CTS.
