panel conversion???

i know it would cost some $$$,but how hard would it be to convert to a full panel??? reason i'm asking is because that's what i really wanted was an SS panel, but already purchased mine. would this be a custom job or can i order the parts from GM???

depends how far you want to take it. Im sure you could buy:

Bumpers
Grille
Rear doors and the hardware to make them open electrically
The AA5 delete 1/4 panels
Side ground effects.

Ive always thought that a panel with LS/LT running boards, grille and bumper would look sweet. Add the SS motor and its one sweet ride.

Why would he need the bumpers and grille, he already owns 2 SS's. He's just looking for a way to take his regular SS and make it into a panel.

without a lot of money and extensive body work i don't know how easy it would be. seems like they would have to sell the doors though, and then do the back window yourself.

Pretty Costly Body Work Wise! Just to Do the Four Windows on the Exterior Would Have to Be in the $2,500 Range ! (4) Metal Panel Inserts, Weld In, Grind Smooth, Body Work and Paint ? Then the Interior ? Good Luck !

impossible. sheet metal has been punched out for windows. so remove windows weld in new sheet metal. sounds like 3-4 grand and repaint.

reorder and eat your deposit, or sell what you have.
cannot be done

Get rid the rear seat, buy and install the panel version of the rear seat etc and then put on 2 layers of limo tint from the second doors on back including the rear hatch. I'm sure you won't see anything out the back.
Ta da.....paneled on the cheap.
