Personalization of 09 SS almost complete

Personalization of 09 SS almost complete

Black/AT/09/SS/loaded/2850 miles
Mods I've done so far
1. Blacked out bowties[lettered SS on frt one in turned silver leaf.
2. Installed chevrolet crossed flags above SS on doors.
3. Installed chrome "Turbo" above HHR on hatch.
4. Installed Sherwood real carbon fiber dash kit, with extra pieces from another kit[steering wheel accents,rear center console, and four door trim pieces].
5. Wicked-flo muffler
Parts to arrive any day now.
1. Smoked headlight film.
2. Smoked tailight film.
3. shorty antenna
4. HHR-SS SS and turbocharged emblems to install on right side of dash[above glove box].
5. Hid headlight kit.
After first of the year
1. Stage 1 kit
2. Pedders susp.
3. Rear sway bar.
After that, I think she's a done deal [for awhile at least].

You might want to try spray tint, It can be dialed into the level of darkness that you want. And if done correctly looks wicked. IMO.

Do you have any pictures of the carbon fibre dash kit? Sounds cool. Is it real carbon fibre or an imitation look a-like. What was the cost if you don't mind me asking and was the installation difficult?

I would think the film or the spray would become crap if they got wet. How do they hold up when wet, or are they just for shows and nice days?

It's a permanent spray tint, VHT niteshades. Mines been on 5 months or so ,Cars been washed and waxed 25 times or so since applying and other than a couple rock chips , They look like i did them yesterday. The clear coat is the reason , It protects the tint and leaves them shiny.

No issues with water whatsoever. Check my gallery pics, i think theres a few close ups .

i painted mine with the vht night light paint only do two coats or it will get to bad to drive at night

Did you spray this on you head lights? I see they sell tint for your head lights on ebay. How are tinted headlights working out for you? I live in the city so I guess it wouldn't be a big issue for me. Did you buy it on-line or auto part store?
