It's a blue in person, but when the light (or flash) hits it just right, it is purple

Hey motrv8d, if you drive by Selman Chevy in Orange, they have a regular BFM HHR out front on the pedestal...although with this liquid sunshine we are currently enjoying, it may not look very nice...

I will take some more in the morning but what I have found so far is that if it
is cloudy outside, the car appears a non flashy blue- not as dark as other Chevy blues. Pictures of car taken with bright flash seem to show car as
a light or almost baby blue which it is not. Put the car under overhead
incadenscent lamps or in my shop under flourescent light and the purple
tints show up. Same thing in sunlight.

well Orange is about 45 minutes north of me, not very close. ill wait til Weseloh gets one in, just five mintues away

Those are the best photos I've seen showing the color change...it's really amazing! THANKS! You must be very proud of "her"?? What's her name? Because BFM could be construed all kinds of "icky" ways....
