What would the differences be between an A-Pillar moulding that is made for HHRs with airbags and a moulding for HHRs without airbags? Part number 25799243 is apparently the same as 25799244 but its for HHRs that do not have side airbags.... Apparently. Would they look or install any differently?

 

As far as I know just the "airbag" written on the plug.

So the only diffrence would be the oval piece that says airbag??

 

The bag itself lives under the headliner. IIRC, the bag ties down on that bolt. Nothing else but maybe a wire under the trim.

 

I thought they all had the airbags...

 

Only front airbags, Side curtains are on later models I know 2011 has them standard and I think they were an option on some years.

 

Well the part 25799243 is explained as the A-pillar with the boost guage but for the Canadian model and without side so im wondering if its going to mess up my side airbags as i do have them... I think lol... It says it at the top of the pillar anyways.... Personally i dont care im still gonna use the pillar anyways i just dont want any fitment problems when it gets here if i habe airbags and this.part is meant for hhrs without them.

 

On a side note part # 25799244 makes the pillar with boost guage for the American market with or without side airbags as well.... Apparently the part number is the same but u need to specify whethr or not you have side airbags. That was on the site i was reading anyways, mind you the part is long sold out as we all know.
