Cash for Clunkers. Did some research. The Ecotec engine is an impressive piece. Had to have 4 doors. Ford has nothing to compete.....It was the PERFORMANCE that was the deciding factor.

This car is just FUN to drive!

Oh, and don't fret over not having the upgraded Pioneer system....it's below average for any factory system, stock or upgraded. For the $750 you can have a MUCH better aftermarket sound system installed.

2 and 1.

I was looking to buy a new Cobalt SS to replace my Cobalt LT, but the Cobalt was a 5sp. Then the salesmen showed me the HHR SS they had in the showroom. I sat in the HHR, and knew instantly that i would be returning home driving this baby.

I won't be modding her a lot. I only got the stage kit and an Aeroforce gauge installed. Fuel efficiency was also important to me.

Yep, I've posted there quite a few times especially when I was rebuilding the engine in my Sy. There was 92 Ty from Kodiak listed on Craigslist and he brought it up but it needed a lot of body work and all of the cladding was missing which is very expensive to replace. Eventually I'll find a Ty in great condition perhaps even locally, in the meantime I'm enjoying my HHR SS and occasionally drive my wife's Genesis Coupe

I liked the look of the HHR when it first came out, but I didn't really want a low performance econo-car. So I didn't pull the trigger until they came out with the SS model, and I haven't regretted a minute in the year and a half since.

You know you like a car when you look around and can't figure out what to replace it with when the time comes. I've looked at all kinds of vehicles to eventually buy and can't come up with any contenders that provide all the things the HHR SS does.
Jersey your choice in HHR is impecable.

My answer wasn't in here. I wanted a red four-door car.

Well they do call the color Victory Red. It's nice to be a winner.
