Heard back from Gloria, which one, hard core or XXX. Or keep the TTR and add the Eibach front sway system. What do you think ??

Get the hardcore bar Sam as the XXX is too big (i.e. stiff) for a street driven ride. You can add the Eibach front bar, but keep in mind the Hardcore bar weighs less than the TTR piece. Both are good upgrades (PRS bar and TTR), but I love to save weight wherever I can. I have a Hardcore bar now myself, definitely a noticeable difference between that and TTR's piece.

Powell bar is far better than any other. If you're going to upgrade, might as well use the best. I've got the Hardcore, and the XXX is kinda tricky for the street. Makes car tail happy in the wet.
Remember that a bigger bar, helps the front suspension turn in a bunch. Which makes the rear end a little looser. "Moon"

Thanks Moon, I'll bet John says the same thing. I chated with Gloria and sent her what I have done to it, She says she'll let me know what he would do and I'll go that way. My tail is pretty stuck now, the roll I feel is in the front. And the tires I picked, are rounded corners, too bad the F1's separated belts that tire cornered. We'll get her dialed in, now for Trifecta.

john will say the hardcore bar but i often wonder exactly how the xxx will do on an hhr vs a cobalt since we have a much higher center of gravity thus much more roll than a cobalt. im gonna try the xxx one day

Have you upgraded the springs? Pedders are a little stiffer and will also help.

After Talking to John Powell awhile back about the XXX bar. He only recommends the XXX bar for track use, as it makes the HHR-SS tail happy on the street during wet, or low traction conditions.
All this talk about different bars, ect. One need to get a good understanding as to what a bigger rear bar, does and does not do, instead of being a "Monkey" see-"Monkey" do. Street wussies need to just get a TTR bar, as they don't know the difference anyway.
Powell's Hardcore bar will work just fine for street and some track use. Been ther-done that-got the T-shirt.
P.S. Going to be running the Goodguys autocross this weekend, Nov. 12-13th at Pleasanton, Calif. to celebrate being a viet Nam vet., and have some fun with all the V8's. "Moon"
