Pretty Cool in the morning

I noticed that when I go to work in the morning I can hear the turbo a lot better. I love that sound. I'm really thinking of starting the MODS after the baby is born. 300 HP sounds pretty good for one of these vehicles.

Having never owned a turbo before, the whistling came as a shock to me. And as my wife asked "is it supposed to make that noise?" Now I love to hear it when I crank up the SS. I also like the wind down noise it makes when I shut it down. It's almost like a power down sound affect you'd hear on a science fiction show like Star Trek.

when i first got my grand national i thought i was hearing sirens in the distance. just the turbo spooling up or down. winter time is the best.
cold dense air alone will give you another 10-hp

Dag gummit...I sure am waitin' on it to cool down a bit here. These 90+ days with high-humidity don't do anything for my boost...

My parking garage sounds fantastic when i start up the SS every morning. It must have favorable acoustics, since it's almost amplified.

I hate parking garages, but the SS gives me at least one good reason to drive around in one.

Yeah, i just gave up my spot.
$160 bucks a month saved.
I only had it to get my son inside from the elements easier since the walk is a bit far. He's a lot bigger now and a little more "durable" :)
I just bought a house so it won't be an issue by the time it gets cold again.
It's nice to be in a garage with so many 2ish liters, (audi, vw, BMW) and have the baddest in the stable :)

When I have to visit one of my offices 2-3 times a month, I have to park in a garage at the train station. And I have to drive up to the 5th floor to get a parking spot. I have to be real careful I don't drive too fast up and down, because the SS loves the corners!
