One of the trucks I am looking at taking to replace my hail damage one has the lite grey inserts in the seats. I do like the look of that but wondered if the lite colour will show the dirt? Those that have this, can you tell me how it is standing up?

 

I don't have the inserts, but personally I would not go with gray, and I specifically avoided it.

Gm light colored fabric is known for staining, red would be the better choice if you wanted the 2 tone.

 

I hav'nt had a problem with the gray inserts, and it is the only color that matches threwout the ss, with the red inserts you still get the clashing grey plastic pillars to the roof -

 

I still have my Fiero from 1985 and it has the same color seat inserts. My seats were Scotch Guarded from the factory and I have not really had any problems with them under normal wear and tear.

Now I do not sit in them in dirty pants and the like but I have has thinks like a coke and other spills that just wiped up with no stains.

I would expect the HHR seat to be somwhat stain proof but like anything they will have their limits.

The Ebony will just show the lint and if you get them dirty you will never know.

 

I've started to notice that already. Every little thing lighter than black shows up on the black seat!

 

i love the grey inserts.. I looked into the red but it just didnt look right to me so i went with the grey.
