I think a heat gun will fix them, unless of course they get lost. The lost ones such as strangers appear to be the bigger problem. And GM isn't going to do anything about a $1.00 piece of rubber as far as a redesign. They are designed to fit the snug in the area where the panel screws are and as long as they are not warped, they do fit.

You're Married too?

Sorry, had to bring it up. I thought it would be funny, kinda like a Stubby thing, to incorporate into different threads (I'm not the first to mention it)

CHEVYMGR, I had one of the moments of diy and took a razor blade to it. I do want to "Thank You" for that other number....what they gave me ended in 15.....might be the 16 is right.......If you could get one I'd be willin' to buy it sight unseen and of course pay for shippon' and whatever else you would want. Let me know......

And "thanks again"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stranger

To tell the truth I never even noticed the little pads as I never stuck my hand in the slot that far till I just check for them there after seeing this thread.

It really does not matter much if they are there or not from the way I see it.

They are different sizes in the 2 front doors. The one on the driver side is smaller than the one one the passenger side. We just did a speaker replacement today and I noticed this. THey may have just ordered the wrong one. Granted mine isnt an SS, but the door panels gotta be the same I would think.
