Removing SS driving lights
I read the on-line service information and it doesn't specifically cover the SS.
Are the SS lamps removed the same as the LT fog lights? I want to remove them to add the protection film. It would be easier than doing it on the car.
Other than removing the three inner fender screws is there any trick to getting the light assemblies out?
TK

I don't think film cover on the SS lights will make much differance. They are a lot tougher than the LT lights. The LT lights are like the stock head lights and will get Damages and pitted something awful that low down.
I drug mine trough a ditch and into an embankment when I got run off the road. The rest of it was trashed but the lens was good.
I did put the covers film on my head lights and in two winter not a single ding or chunk. I highly recomend the film.
Thanks Hyper. Yeah, they look pretty touch but they are getting chipped from the rocks. I might has well do them at the same time.
Do you know how they are attached to the front bumper?
