That sounds like a Real Bargain to me in US Dollars.
A Great time to make a deal for a Canadian car.
I am looking a an HHR from Canada myself.
If you buy it in the States you will probably want to convert the Speedometer to Miles from KLM.
FWIW .. As a Comparison of sorts there is a 2009 Black SS 5 spd on Seattle Craigs List with only 35000 miles for $16,000 U.S.
The Car looks to be Cherry.

Bit off topic, but you guys can't do the numbers that way. Each of those options show as a percentage of the production number for that trim. You can make gross, and inaccurate, estimates based on assumptions that the percentages carry through to each of the options. But you'll be really lucky if it is right.
For example, if you say you have a regular SS, that was a fleet vehicle, Aqua Blue with a 5 speed you end with 14.1% of a vehicle.

I wanted to buy a car from Canada , it was a 2007 panel LS with 20 k original miles and with the exchange it would have been $5500 us. The EPA sticker under the hood stated that the engine conformed to all 50'states. The DOT sticker in the door was Canada's version and in order to bring it into the states customs told me that I would need a letter from Chevrolet Canada that the car also conformed to US DOT. The place that I was trying to purchase the car from they didn't want the hassle so it was a no go. If you are interested in a Canadian car just ask the owner or salesperson to take a photo of those stickers to see what it will take to bring it to the US.
Anyone who is seriously interested can PM me for the sales rep contact info. BTW, I have no financial interest in selling their car. But I would be happy to see the right person get it and, I still have all the service records. Not mentioned in the ad are the year old Michelin Pilot Sport 245/40 R18's and a K&N filter.
As I recall the speedo show KM and miles but the odometer is km.
Here is a decent photo:

Actually the Canadian HHR's have a system selection in the DIC for metric ( the speedo and odometer show in kilometres) and English ( the speedometer and odometer show in miles)
The coolant temp changes along with the outside temperature and the fuel usage changes .
I'm not sure why customs would have a problem if the sticker shows all 50 states and Canada, we're pretty much on par with California for emissions and crash test safety
And to RTF's statement,
There were 2,346 2009 SS code 1AU46 built of those there were 8.5% or 199.4 built with the AA5 rear window delete option.
100 percent of the 1AU46 had the 1SS opinion which included the sunroof.
As for the 5speed option that applies to the percentage of the 2,346 SS and is a guess on the AA5 equipped with a manual transmission.
So it is with simple mathematics I calculated there were about 200 built.
As for the SS panel there were 216 built with the code 1AU26 and do not include the AA5 option

Blue,
The car I am looking at shows miles on the odometer so that has been changed but the speedo gauge has no provision for Miles.
It shows 0-200 KM and My GM dealer says I will have to change the cluster to read in Miles. Approx. $350 parts and labor. The job also has to be done by a Certified shop.
